Admissions Campaign for St. Christopher’s Is Underway

Elevation recently completed strategic marketing planning for and implementation of an admissions campaign for St. Christopher’s School–a college preparatory school for boys from junior kindergarten through 12th grade.

The integrated campaign includes a series of direct mail pieces with personalized URL response mechanisms, online display and contextual-based advertising, and television support.

St. Christopher’s selected Elevation as its marketing partner in July. Additional creative work in preparation for the school’s upcoming centennial celebration is currently underway.

Fresh Thinking for AMF Bakery Systems

Elevation recently launched a new branding campaign for AMF Bakery Systems—the world’s leading manufacturer of high speed baking equipment for high volume bakeries.

The campaign, which is running in a wide range of baking industry trade publications, debuts the company’s new brand positioning. Elevation’s Fresh Thinking messaging platform addresses both AMF’s approach to product development and support services, as well as its drive to alleviate downtime for its bakery customers.

Since bakeries create perishable products, problems with any piece of equipment can have a drastic impact on profitability. Fresh Thinking reminds customers that every decision AMF makes revolves around keeping their products fresh and their profits protected.

Dominion Riverrock: Richmond’s Riverlife Celebration

Sports Backers and Venture Richmond recently announced the creation of Dominion Riverrock—a new event that is designed to unite the community through a unique mix of sports, music and fun, set against the backdrop of Richmond’s downtown riverfront.

Elevation played a key role in helping these two organizations create the event. We developed its name and identity, as well as a complete branding platform and strategic marketing plan for what will become an annual celebration of Richmond riverlife.

UPDATED: Dominion Riverrock was a huge success–with over 10,000 participants the first night alone! Elevation’s promotional campaign included traditional and non-traditional elements, including social media and mobile marketing. Elevation Launches Major Campaign For Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center

After months of strategic marketing planning, Elevation has launched a multi-faceted campaign in support of the opening of Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center—the East Coast’s premiere destination for executive-level health evaluation.

Unlike traditional physicals that just scratch the surface of evaluating the health of a patient, Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art screenings in an exceptionally private setting. The Center caters to the special needs of C-Level executives and others seeking in-depth, one-on-one analysis and advice from world-class doctors.

Virginia Abrasives is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers and distributors of sandpaper products, bonded abrasive cutting wheels and grinding discs, and diamond abrasive tools. Their products are marketed to rental equipment dealers, professional wood floor sanders, and concrete floor sanding professionals.

Elevation is helping the company heighten the impact of its advertising by building a brand based on Real Grit—a position that reflects the company’s focus on providing quality abrasive products with a higher level of personalized service than any other manufacturer. The ads above demonstrate the refreshing honesty of the Virginia Abrasives’ brand voice, and how we’re using it to cut through the clutter of traditional trade advertising.

Elevation Helps YMCA Grow Stronger

The Greater Richmond YMCA is embarking on a major capital campaign that will enable this unique organization to strengthen its outreach throughout central Virginia.

Elevation was asked to develop a messaging platform, a theme and a graphic platform that could be used to support a multi-faceted campaign that will touch all 15 branches and provide a solid foundation for corporate giving.

Our theme, Growing Stronger Together, reflects the many elements of the YMCA’s capital campaign, and provides a flexible framework for telling the story of how it will strengthen the organization’s mission, programs, outreach and organizational leadership. This theme was brought to life through a dynamic graphic platform that YMCA’s internal design department can use over the next 2-3 years to unify all campaign materials.

Shaping the MWV Brand

To support the global advertising campaign we launched for MWV this year, we developed an online series of customer communications that unveil new components of the brand each month.

Driven to the howbrandstakeshape.com site by emails, customers view the quick flash movie and then are provided with additional information which leads them deeper into MWV’s corporate website. Be a Holiday Angel

McKesson Medical-Surgical is sponsoring their second annual Holiday Angels charity drive in support of homebound adults served by Meals on Wheels. Their goal is to collect 5,000 individual gifts, as well as cash donations.

Elevation has worked closely with McKesson to develop and implement this important promotion, which is poised to make a dramatic impact on the lives of our elderly and disabled neigbors in metro Richmond. Collection bins will be posted in nearly 50 Richmond-area CVS locations through December 7th. You can help by donating a variety of new, unwrapped, non-food gift items. Natralock by MWV Makes Quite an Impression

Natralock paperboard security packaging is an alternative, renewable solution to traditional plastic clamshell packaging that uses 50-60% less plastic on average—while also improving the consumer’s experience. Elevation handled the strategic positioning, creative development and media planning and placement for the launch of this innovative product.

The work has been recognized repeatedly by trade publications as “the most memorable advertising in the publication” according to independent readership surveys. In fact, a recent reader study by Brand Packaging determined that the campaign led MWV to be ranked as the #1 advertiser in terms of overall awareness. 70% of all readers noticed the ad, and 61% reported reading it. That’s why the Children’s Museum of Richmond creates an environment that lets children pretend, build, climb and explore—so they can develop life skills and come to understand the world around them, while having a great time! Elevation created a new television campaign for the museum to coincide with the grand opening of the CMoR Town Square.

The spot reflects the spirit of fun and imagination that the museum strives to provide. Oh, and it’s pretty catchy, too… to maximize the impact of this nonprofit organization’s media buy.
