http://www.elevationadvertising.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Riverrock2010.flv

In 2009, Elevation helped Sports Backers and Venture Richmond create Dominion Riverrock, Richmond’s annual celebration of active riverlife. Our work included naming, identity development and brand strategy for the event, as well as creating the marketing plan and implementing all advertising components. This year, the event returns with even bigger thrills—and we’re pleased to be part of the action again! Make your plans to attend Dominion Riverrock May 14-15 on Brown’s Island.

The Virginia College Savings Plan offers four flexible programs that help parents save for college. Elevation has handled creative duties for VCSP for years, and recently completed a new campaign of four television commercials.

The campaign includes a general promotion for the agency, as well as commercials for the Virginia Prepaid Education Program, the Virginia Education Savings Trust and the CollegeWealth program.

The spots are airing statewide now. Look for the commercial to be featured during the Super Bowl broadcast on February 7th.

As the Mid-Atlantic’s prime destination for contemporary furnishings and accessories, LaDifférence offers a shopping experience like no other. So when LaDiff decides to have a sale, it needs advertising to match.

That’s where Elevation comes in. We work as an extension of LaDiff’s talented internal marketing team to develop television advertising—like the Seating Sale spot featured here—and also provide consulting for social media, online advertising and other special marketing projects.

Elevation recently launched a new campaign for Virginia Credit Union to build on this financial institution’s longtime commitment to helping its members save money.

The Save Smart campaign provides consumers with a wealth of easy, money-saving tips that can make a financial impact on individuals and their families. These tips are distributed via television, radio and online advertisements that link consumers to a dedicated Save Smart website that Elevation created with Virginia Credit Union to provide access to more in-depth savings tools and advice.

Consumers are encouraged to submit and share their own money-saving advice through the site’s blog, which will distribute the new tips through social networks. [To view 3 of the 12 television-based tips, click the image above. Requires a Flash plug-in to view properly.]

The event runs through October 11th. Make your plans to attend today. [To view Elevation's Butterflies LIVE! commercials, click the image above. Requires a Flash plug-in to view properly. Click image above to view the outdoor board at a larger size.]

Dominion Riverrock: Richmond’s Riverlife Celebration

RiverRock_Work

Sports Backers and Venture Richmond recently announced the creation of Dominion Riverrock—a new event that is designed to unite the community through a unique mix of sports, music and fun, set against the backdrop of Richmond’s downtown riverfront.

Elevation played a key role in helping these two organizations create the event. We developed its name and identity, as well as a complete branding platform and strategic marketing plan for what will become an annual celebration of Richmond riverlife.

UPDATED: Dominion Riverrock was a huge success–with over 10,000 participants the first night alone! Elevation’s promotional campaign included traditional and non-traditional elements, including social media and mobile marketing. Planning will begin soon on the second annual event, and we can’t wait to be a part of it again! [To view Elevation's Riverrock commercial, click the top image above. Let’s Play!

For kids, play is the path to learning. That’s why the Children’s Museum of Richmond creates an environment that lets children pretend, build, climb and explore—so they can develop life skills and come to understand the world around them, while having a great time! Elevation created a new television campaign for the museum to coincide with the grand opening of the CMoR Town Square.

The spot reflects the spirit of fun and imagination that the museum strives to provide. Oh, and it’s pretty catchy, too… to maximize the impact of this nonprofit organization’s media buy. The only thing more fun than making the campaign is a trip to the Children’s Museum with your kids. [The video above requires a Flash plug-in to view properly]

Promoting Stability in a Time of Financial Crisis

We’re proud to have been Virginia Credit Union’s advertising partner for years. It’s a great organization that’s wholly committed to the financial well-being of its members—and they provide a level of personalized service that is simply unheard of in our regional banking industry.

The more we talked with members, the more we understood their passion for Virginia Credit Union. So, we built the advertising around them. Using real members sharing their candid impressions of Virginia Credit Union cuts to the heart of this longstanding brand. Their message of stability and service is both timeless and timely. As other banks merge, close or seek bailouts, Virginia Credit Union remains stable and strong, helping its members make financial progress together. Start Your Exploration of American History…

http://www.elevationadvertising.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/aht103.flv

After a successful celebration of our nation’s 400th Anniversary in 2007, America’s Historic Triangle sought to develop a campaign that would keep visitors coming to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown throughout 2008.

Our integrated campaign consists of television, print, radio and online executions that are running in multiple states to remind families that the only way to fully understand the American story is to see its beginnings for yourself.
