Riverrock Returns

In 2009, Elevation helped Sports Backers and Venture Richmond create Dominion Riverrock, Richmond’s annual celebration of active riverlife. Our work included naming, identity development and brand strategy for the event, as well as creating the marketing plan and implementing all advertising components. This year, the event returns with even bigger thrills—and we’re pleased to be part of the action again! Make your plans to attend Dominion Riverrock May 14-15 on Brown’s Island.

The Virginia College Savings Plan offers four flexible programs that help parents save for college. Elevation has handled creative duties for VCSP for years, and recently completed a new campaign of four television commercials.

The campaign includes a general promotion for the agency, as well as commercials for the Virginia Prepaid Education Program, the Virginia Education Savings Trust and the CollegeWealth program.

The spots are airing statewide now. Look for the commercial to be featured during the Super Bowl broadcast on February 7th.

The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K was recently named one of the the top 10 races in the country by USA Today. And with good reason! Its mix of running, costumes and music draws well over 30,000 participants — plus huge cheering crowds — each year.

Elevation captured the unique spirit of the event in a new campaign featuring foot puppets engaged in offbeat race scenarios. Four television commercials, (supported with print, outdoor and radio) make up the campaign, which is intended to increase registrations and excitement for the 2010 event.

The community will soon have a chance to create and submit their own “footage” as part of the campaign, too. Check back for details in the weeks ahead.

As the Mid-Atlantic’s prime destination for contemporary furnishings and accessories, LaDifférence offers a shopping experience like no other. So when LaDiff decides to have a sale, it needs advertising to match.

That’s where Elevation comes in. We work as an extension of LaDiff’s talented internal marketing team to develop television advertising—like the Seating Sale spot featured here—and also provide consulting for social media, online advertising and other special marketing projects.

Elevation recently launched a new campaign for Virginia Credit Union to build on this financial institution’s longtime commitment to helping its members save money.

The Save Smart campaign provides consumers with a wealth of easy, money-saving tips that can make a financial impact on individuals and their families. These tips are distributed via television, radio and online advertisements that link consumers to a dedicated Save Smart website that Elevation created with Virginia Credit Union to provide access to more in-depth savings tools and advice.

Consumers are encouraged to submit and share their own money-saving advice through the site’s blog, which will distribute the new tips through social networks. [To view 3 of the 12 television-based tips, click the image above. Requires a Flash plug-in to view properly.]
