Fresh Thinking for AMF Bakery Systems

Elevation recently launched a new branding campaign for AMF Bakery Systems—the world’s leading manufacturer of high speed baking equipment for high volume bakeries.

The campaign, which is running in a wide range of baking industry trade publications, debuts the company’s new brand positioning. Elevation’s Fresh Thinking messaging platform addresses both AMF’s approach to product development and support services, as well as its drive to alleviate downtime for its bakery customers.

Since bakeries create perishable products, problems with any piece of equipment can have a drastic impact on profitability. Fresh Thinking reminds customers that every decision AMF makes revolves around keeping their products fresh and their profits protected.

Elevation Debuts New Work For UsedCameras.com

How would a used camera sell itself? That was the question Elevation’s creative team explored when we were recently asked to develop an integrated campaign to promote UsedCameras.com as a prime destination for purchasing photographic equipment.

Print ads, online banner ads and direct mail were created around the idea that while the cameras are used, they’re not “used up”—thus providing potential purchasers with great equipment at a great value. The campaign manages to feature product very prominently, while infusing it with an attitude that is both honest and engaging. [Click the image above to view print ads at a larger size.]

Elevating Marketing Inside Busch Gardens

Elevation is handling in-park marketing duties for two of the nation’s most popular theme parks, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.

Work began in January with the development of a comprehensive plan aimed at communicating pass upgrades, special events and other opportunities to guests within the park environments. Elevation then developed and installed all related creative materials, including in-park signage, price boards, banners and other clutter-busting tactics designed to reach theme park visitors in unexpected ways.

Elevation Launches Major Campaign For Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center

After months of strategic marketing planning, Elevation has launched a multi-faceted campaign in support of the opening of Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center—the East Coast’s premiere destination for executive-level health evaluation.

Unlike traditional physicals that just scratch the surface of evaluating the health of a patient, Williamsburg Health Evaluation Center offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art screenings in an exceptionally private setting. The Center caters to the special needs of C-Level executives and others seeking in-depth, one-on-one analysis and advice from world-class doctors.

Advertising With Real Grit

Virginia Abrasives is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers and distributors of sandpaper products, bonded abrasive cutting wheels and grinding discs, and diamond abrasive tools. Their products are marketed to rental equipment dealers, professional wood floor sanders, and concrete floor sanding professionals.

Elevation is helping the company heighten the impact of its advertising by building a brand based on Real Grit—a position that reflects the company’s focus on providing quality abrasive products with a higher level of personalized service than any other manufacturer. The ads above demonstrate the refreshing honesty of the Virginia Abrasives’ brand voice, and how we’re using it to cut through the clutter of traditional trade advertising.

Natralock by MWV Makes Quite an Impression

Natralock paperboard security packaging is an alternative, renewable solution to traditional plastic clamshell packaging that uses 50-60% less plastic on average—while also improving the consumer’s experience. Elevation handled the strategic positioning, creative development and media planning and placement for the launch of this innovative product.

The work has been recognized repeatedly by trade publications as “the most memorable advertising in the publication” according to independent readership surveys. In fact, a recent reader study by Brand Packaging determined that the campaign led MWV to be ranked as the #1 advertiser in terms of overall awareness. 70% of all readers noticed the ad, and 61% reported reading it. Our integrated campaign consists of television, print, radio and online executions that are running in multiple states to remind families that the only way to fully understand the American story is to see its beginnings for yourself. A Proven, Permanent Solution to Homelessness

Elevation is a proud supporter of Virginia Supportive Housing, one of the few not-for-profit organizations in the country that provides both permanent housing and supportive services to the most under-served segments of our population. The results are dramatic. 96% of their residents obtain a stable income through work entitlement programs; 90% of their residents NEVER RETURN to homelessness; and the public saves up to $9,000 per individual served.

Working closely with our friends from The Martin Agency’s sports marketing arm, Elevation created an integrated campaign for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). Because the network is owned by the team, they can offer fans more access to the games and players than any other outlet.

We built the campaign around that idea of maximum access—and created a series of offbeat, memorable spots that actually led to a whole new nickname for outfielder Nick Markakis.

Make Room for the Memories

Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation asked Elevation to develop a campaign that could be used to position Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center as destinations of choice for families seeking a history-filled vacation that’s also a lot of fun.

Because these living history museums recreate history, complete with costumed interpreters and full scale replicas of the three ships that brought the first English settlers to the New World in 1607, it makes for a quite an experience.

Our campaign helped communicate the idea that these destinations’ unique brand of history is indeed great for families, and can create a lifetime of memories for everyone to enjoy.
